We've made dresses 12 inches bigger, repaired leather that others won't touch, and as a trusted fitting partner for Hockerty — the international made-to-measure brand — we bring the same precision to every garment.

Do I need an appointment? +
No appointment needed! Just pop in during opening hours (Mon–Sat, 10:30am–5:00pm). For complex jobs like wedding dresses, it can help to call ahead so we can give you more time.
How long do alterations take? +
Most work is ready within a week. Simple jobs like hems and buttons can often be done sooner. If you're in a hurry, just let us know — we offer an express service for urgent work.
How much will my alteration cost? +
We keep prices clear and fair — check our pricing section above for a guide. Final cost depends on the garment and what needs doing. We'll always give you an exact quote when you bring it in — no surprises.
Do you work with leather and denim? +
Yes! We work with all fabrics including leather, denim, silk, and delicate materials. Leather zips and repairs are a speciality.
What is Hockerty? +
Hockerty is an international made-to-measure clothing brand. Openfit is their trusted fitting partner in Nottingham — customers order online and come to us for professional fittings and adjustments.
Can you fix my broken zip? +
Absolutely — zip replacements are one of our most popular jobs. We replace zips on jeans, trousers, skirts, dresses, jackets, and leather jackets. Prices start from £20.

We're at 8 Flying Horse Walk, a covered arcade off St Peters Gate in Nottingham city centre (NG1 2HN). Look for the entrance between South Parade and St Peters Gate.
